My Story
Over the last 9 months I have been undergoing treatment for breast cancer requiring x2 operations, chemotherapy & radiotherapy (all whilst home schooling during the global pandemic, and catching covid!) As I have finished treatment, I decided I needed some motivation to return to fitness. Along with some fantastic friends who have been with us every step of the way, I am running a Race for Life 10k, almost a year to the day following my diagnosis. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime & almost every family in the UK is affected in some way, so it's more important than ever to raise money and save lives which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 10k. We know too many people who have suffered from cancer and sadly are not with us today, including Huw's sister who died quite suddenly 2-weeks after my diagnosis. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, I don't usually ask, but would be so grateful if you could sponsor me now. Any small amount will help. Many thanks
