2021 Great Birmingham Run 10k

In memory of

Aunty Simone

My Story

In December my family had a really sad end to 2020 when we lost our wonderful Aunty Simone (mum to my 2 amazing cousins) to a short and sudden battle with cancer aged only 56. I signed up to the Great Birmingham Run in October to run in her memory and raise money to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Unfortunately the race has been postponed to May 2022 but Cancer Research are running (excuse the pun) another event which is 60 miles in September. Therefore I’m going to do both! For those of you who know me know I am realllly not a runner so I appreciate all of your support in advance!!
