I set myself a goal that I wanted to run a half marathon in 2020 6 years ago in June I sadly lost my Gran Dee Dee to cancer - she was a total warrior and battled through it but unfortunately it beat her I wanted to do this because if she can go through the pain and suffering of cancer, chemo and radiotherapy and not moan once I can certainly do this run! I wish I had of had 10 more years with her and she could of seen my walk down the aisle at my wedding! A close friend of mines mum has recently had a battle with breast cancer and she has been a total warrior too <3 This charity is very close to my heart and I really want to smash my training for this run & raise as much money for this amazing charity!
