My Story
Thank you for visiting this donation page created in memory of our Dad, Frank Killen. At the age of 74 years, Dad passed peacefully surrounded by his family at Aintree Hospital, Liverpool on Wednesday 6th March 2024 following a short illness. Dearly beloved husband to our Mum, Jacqueline 'Jackie', loving Dad to Franny and I (Pauline), much loved Grandad to Morgan and Louis and dear father-in-law to Matthew. Son of the late Winifred and Francis Killen, cherished brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Dad was a kind man, always thought about others and throughout his career worked hard. Helping other people was never a problem and something he liked to do. Dad had a good sense of humour and made life fun when we were together as a family - that is something we will all miss. Thank you for your donation in Dad's memory. Cancer Research UK supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Your donation will help to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. If you are a UK taxpayer the value of your donation can increase by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme – at no additional cost to you. Please tick the Gift Aid box when you donate.
