My Story
Why am I doing Race for Life? Well I can’t find a reason why I wouldn’t want to do it! We all have that one thing in common, we all know of someone whether that is a loved one, a friend or a friend of a friend who has suffered from the ‘BIG C’ Word (that’s what I call it, it’s such a painful word to say) Cancer is happening right now, which is why I feel it is my time to support Cancer Research by taking part in 2018’s Race for Life. I want to do it for all the family members I have loved and lost and to also say a HUGE Thank You for the family members that are still here today because of the treatment they have received. Everyone that knows me, knows that I love my exercise therefore, I thought I would set myself a challenge this year that I knew wouldn’t be easy but would be fun so I’ve opted for the Race for Life 10k Run. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
