Forterra Graduates - Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Sat 23 Sep 2023
Forterra Graduates are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, stretching 24 miles through the Yorkshire Dales. This is to support our selected corporate charity, Cancer Research UK.
After Cancer Research UK was selected as our chosen corporate charity, the graduates within Forterra, both current and former, have decided to contribute towards this worthy cause. We are doing this by completing the grueling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, on Saturday 23rd September 2023. The walk is a 24-mile round trip, ascending 1585m (5200 ft). This takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), with the ambition of completing this in under 12 hours. To honour the Forterra brand and add to the challenge, each of us will be carrying a product token to the top of each peak, in the form of a brick, block, concrete or clay material! To support us in this challenge, we would be grateful to receive words of encouragement and donations towards this incredible charity. Please share page link where possible. Names of participants: Alex Trengove, Dominic Davies, Hannah Yell, Jordan Ball, Laura Watts, Luke Adeney Jones, Milly Pratt and Randolf Olarte.
