Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! My sister Catherine was diagnosed with breast cancer at the start of lockdown. She has shown amazing courage throughout, remaining positive and strong during her chemotherapy. She is a wonderful, caring and loving person. This is also for my close, long time friend Wendy, who 7 years ago was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. She has been a source of inspiration with her strong-willed, determined and positive outlook. Over the years she has also has taken on challenges and raised money for the fight against cancer. Sadly she has been told that she has only a short time remaining and yet she remains strong and determined to make the most of her time left. Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
