The effects of the Rona have hit all of us. I can’t imagine how it must have affect those that are just receiving the awful news that they, or a loved one has cancer. Pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of all cancers. A diagnosis is pretty much a death sentence. My mom lived just 3 months after her diagnosis. It all happened so fast but we were all right there with her. There are families that haven’t been able to properly to hug their loved ones or kiss them goodbye. It’s heartbreaking. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! CAUSE
Pancreatic cancer
Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
