My Story
So on Friday 28th October I’ll have to do something so painful it doesn’t seem possible. I have to say goodbye to my big brother John, who has been cruelly taken from us far too early by this horrible disease. John was only 42 and leaves behind a young family that I know he adored. I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing something like this so early but the opportunity presented itself, and those who knew John knew he was a bodybuilder and fitness fanatic before that ability was stolen from him. So… I’m going to do 100 push ups a day in November to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I know he’d be having a good chuckle, but still cheering me on if he could see me struggling to do all those push-ups - I’m definitely not a bodybuilder 😬.
