My Story

I am running the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k in memory of my loving Granddad. He was sadly taken by Cancer of the Head and Neck this year and it has left a mark on the lives of all that knew him. He was such a kind and courageous man right up until the end and loved all of his family and friends with his entire being. It was a sad loss to say goodbye to such an important man in my life and I am honoured to be running the Pretty Muddy 5k event with my best friend to improve the lives of other people who are living with cancer.

Developing better treatments

From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
