In 2002 I lost one of my best friends at the age to 31 to this debilitating disease in just 4 months and now a close friends mum is battling as we speak. My personnel contribution to the pain and suffering these people have felt is to ride 186 miles and climb 11,000 ft in 1 day at a speed of 16 mph. Please help me to help the millions of people that have suffered from the hands of Cancer by giving generously to this page. My training program has progressively intensified over the past month. With last Sunday the toughest day yet - 100 miles with not taking an official stop or tea break other than a quick wee stop.
