2024 TCS London Marathon
My Story
Running the London Marathon has always been a challenge I have wanted to complete. At the start of last year having never ran more than 5 miles, and now with a few half marathons under my belt I am so pleased to have been given the opportunity through work to represent Cancer Research UK in the 2024 London Marathon. I am massively appreciative to be raising money for such a worthy cause and one that means a lot to me. My nanny Penny lost her battle to cancer aged 59. And with a recent diagnosis, my wonderful grandad is now undergoing treatment for his cancer. There are a lot more miles ahead for me to clock up as I continue training through the cold and darker months but with the support of my friends, family and running buddies I can't wait to push myself out of my comfort zone and complete this marathon to raise as much money as I can for CRUK who will be supporting my grandad along his journey. A massive thank you for your support and generosity.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
