My Story

We did it! We were exhausted but amazed by our achievement. Thanks everyone for your donations As many of you will know, I have many family members and friends who have lost their battle with cancer and some who are still battling. I agreed to take part in the Shine Walk with a group of colleagues whilst I am still relatively fit! However, due to displacing some vertebrae I wasn’t sure if I could do it. After a few physio sessions I now have the all clear to walk. I am somewhat behind in my fundraising as the walk is on the 22nd. If you can donate a small amount I would be extremely grateful. I am one of the oldest and shortest in the team. Hoping my wee short dumpy legs will get me through. Thanks xx Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
