My Story
This is the 🔟th year I’ve completed my Race for Life 🏅 I do this for my family and friends who have kicked cancer’s backside and continue to do so! 👊🏻 My Mum and Dad, Pat and Peter, Richard, Rodney, Sarah and everyone who is currently fighting cancer. 💪🏻 And in memory of Howard, Matt, Imogen and Lou who sadly lost their battles! 💕 Though our lives may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer. To make sure people get the support they need during these unprecedented times, I've done my Race for Life at Home! The reason for this was that my event, the Blackheath Race For Life which was due to take place on Sunday 28th June 2020 was cancelled and although there was a chance of it being rescheduled, sadly it was not possible, so I did my 5K today (Monday 29th June). 🏃🏼♀️ Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please donate to my Giving Page today! If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/athome We might be apart, but we’re doing this together.
