I am taking part in Race for Life with my Daughter and we are running for my Dad who was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer at the age of 51. Dad's cancer was diagnosed at an early stage and he was successfully operated on and he turned 79 on March 10th. My Dad's brother wasn't so lucky, he too suffered from Bowel Cancer but it spread to his liver. Cancer affects so many, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
