Last year I had the news that everyone dreads to hear. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Basically my life fell apart in that one moment. In my younger days Cancer equaled a poor outcome but with all the new developments in Cancer Care these days, more people are surviving. The pioneering treatments are helping women and men survive longer, if not altogether. There is still such a long way to go but if we continue the way we are going, hopefully one day there could be a cure. I am pleased to say the words 'I have survived' and with ongoing treatment and continual NHS care I will keep fighting. Please help the Kinross Beauts raise more money for Cancer care. From a grateful survivor :)
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
