My Story

6 years ago my brother-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, just as he returned from honeymoon. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy and enjoyed 4 years of married life that he didnt think he'd get to see. Sadly 2 years ago the cancer returned and he passed away. But he was very grateful for the extra time he was afforded with his family due to the medical interventions he received. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. CAUSE

Pancreatic cancer

Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
