I'm walking the Shine Night Walk to support the fight to beat cancer

Francine Johnson
Six years ago I completed my first walking half marathon with my friends Karen and Francine and have been completing walking challenges ever since. We look so happy in the photo above. Sadly this year I am completing the full marathon and I am walking in honour and memory of Francine, a wonderful lovely lady, I am proud to call my friend who recently lost her battle with cancer. Remembered always FJ x Each year Cancer Research UK are getting closer to beating cancer and we need to help all we can. With so many people battling this terrible disease we need to find a cure. My training started with the Race for Life on Blackheath with FJ Fillies and will end when I will be walking the Shine Marathon on Saturday 22nd September overnight. My 20 mile training walk is now completed and I’m as ready as I can be. Anything donated will go toward everyone’s fight, now and in the future.
