2018 Outlaw Half Nottingham
Sun 20 May 2018
Like so many other people, cancer has had a big impact on my family. A great aunt and two of my mother's sister, who were both such lovely people, lost to cancer. My great uncle survived prostate cancer and my beloved Nan is in remission from leukaemia. For such a long time I've felt that it is almost enevitable that this will happen to me too. But things have changed in recent years. Survival rates are so much better and I feel more optimistic now. I'm taking part in the Outlaw Half in May to raise money for Cancer Research. It's a 1.2 miles swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run and I can tell you that this is way outside of my comfort zone! Please consider sponsoring me. I'll try not to break anything during the event. ? Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
