2018 Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon
I’m raising as much as I can for cancer research because it affected the people I love.
I have decided to run the Cardiff Half this year because there are a group of us from uni who are all entering so I thought it might be 'fun'. Pah! What was I thinking?! I have started to realise that there is a big difference between the 5K that I have run before and 21K. The main problem for me that I seem to be suffering from the same issue I had with my feet as when I used to run 5K as a teenager. I am carrying on dispite this with lots of ice on my ankle after each run. Hopefully it will hold out. It would really help me keep going with my training if I can reach my sponsorship target for cancer research UK. Cancer has touched the lives of many of my loved ones in recent years so it's a charity close to my heart. Thank you for your support.
