Running for mum ❤
While mum is awaiting a double mastectomy, I've signed up for this. The results of previous research have helped my mum before and will do again in the next few weeks. So I'm raising money to say thank you for that and to keep pushing things forward so more people can live longer and better. And because what else can you do when you're waiting for your mum to have surgery? My reason for running is 100% emotional but below are some more factual reasons for donating! Research and clinical trials are expensive and rely on money from charities and grants. But it is only through good research we can find medications that prolong life, improve quality of life and cure cancers. Race for Life is one of the ways to feel like I'm doing something to help. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
