Alright cancer, no more Mrs Nice Girl.
In memory of
Ellen
It's that time of year again. The buds are bursting into bloom, the lambs are gamboling and the Sister Act team are dusting off our trainers. If you're new to the story - WELCOME! Put your feet up and get comfy. Here's the Cliff's notes: When I was sixteen and Sophie was eleven, our mum was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She recovered with great style and aplomb and now spends her time making daiquiris in a Nutribullet and winning all my money off of me in roulette. But cancer wasn't through with us, and there's no way we're through with cancer. 1 in 2 people will now be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetime. Every member of our team has lost people because of this heinous disease. Just last month, we lost a dear, dear friend. I was lucky not to lose the most important person in my life when cancer came after her. I race for life so that other people can be as lucky as I was.
