My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. I am doing this in memory of those who I have lost to Cancer, my family and friends who are currently fighting it and for those family and friends who have beaten it!! While walking 10k steps a days sounds simple, some days it has been a challenge, especially with some of the weather we've had this month. I have found myself walking around our neighborhood in the sun, rain and stormy winds, plus walking around a friend's living room as we caught up, even my husband has been able to kick me out of the car on more than one occasion to walk home! None the less made it 24 days, with 1 week to go and with the weather looking good this week hoping to get alot more than 70k! While this month has been a challenge, it has helped me get more exercise in and rethink when to use the car! But a months challenge for me, is a small part I can play in helping raise money for cancer research! So please, if you can donate to help fund the life changing research!!
