My Story
So many lovely people we know and love have been lost to cancer. Isabella and myself will be running for all of those people and also with a big "taid" (grandad) on our backs for my dad who was diagnosed with throat cancer last year. A non smoking, very fit gym bunny - cancer doesn't make any sense most of the time. He lost his voice after his laryngectomy but is still very much alive thanks to the surgery. He was always our hero but is now our superhero (with an "awesome" new microphone voice). Cancer is happening right now. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
