My Story

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page! This November, I will be going vegetarian for Cancer Research UK in support of all those that cancer has effected but also of course for the members of my family who have lost and also won their fight with cancer all with strength and determination! I've always wanted to begin my veggie journey again and knowing this will also help others and go towards the journey to a cancer free world it seems like a good place to start. I hope everyone who is able can give what they can, Thank you! :)

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
