I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

Emmy Donaldson and Borgný Patursson

Hello friends and family!

In 3 short weeks I will be running the race for life to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart, Cancer Research UK. Two years ago I lost the most amazing Mum in the world, Emmy Dam Donaldson, to cancer and last month it took my beautiful Aunty Borgný Patursson so I will be running in their memory. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, so chances are most of you reading this have experienced the terrible effects cancer can have on people and on their loved ones. However as a scientist I have complete faith that one day we will find a way to beat this horrible disease. Cancer Research UK's life saving work relies on donations so I'm asking for any amount, big or small, so we can work towards beating cancer once and for all. Donations can be made via the link below, thank you for taking the time to read this and for any donations made.
