My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. I've lost too many family members and close friends to Cancer, including my fabulous mum Daphne and my equally fabulous mother-in-law Joyce and we need to try and stop as many others as possible from dying from this horrible disease. Jill and I may not be serious athletes but we're giving this our best (Holly is much younger and fitter so we'll catch up with her at the end - she'll probably do it in half our time!!) so please help us raise as much as possible in memory of the loving, kind and funny Brian Kenton and in support of my wonderful husband Nick who has been typically stoic and brave throughout his diagnosis and treatment. Thank you xxxx

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
