My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. A few months ago I decided to take part in the run for my Dad who sadly lost his short fight with Small Cell Lung cancer 10 years ago. Cancer has a devastating impact on a persons family to watch someone you love suffer and deteriorate into someone you don’t recognise anymore is a big thing on its own to witness but all the other factors you have to deal with also makes dealing with cancer very hard and life changing.
