Cancer is happening right now, and my wife's Cancer battle began back in October 2020 where she found a lump. In November 2020 Kirsty was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent 2 surgeries in January and February and is now having Chemotherapy. Following Chemotherapy she will undergo some more surgery. This is why Along with my family, I am taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money, save lives and raise awareness. Awareness for individuals to check themselves so regularly that they are able to detect something that is not normal for them. 🙏

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
