Shine Night Walk - Full Marathon

Sat 23 Sep 2017

Most of us know someone affected by cancer - please show your support for life changing research.

My Story

After we (nearly) completed walking the Thames Path last year, Alison and I are after a new challenge. The Shine Walk for Cancer Research is more than that - a tough 26 mile walk through the night across London, but will be so worthwhile for the cause. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years - and with your help, this will continue to increase. Any donations you could make would be very appreciated as it all makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Thank you for your support. Farah and Alison

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
