My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon and raising money for Cancer Research UK by ditching the drink for one month and fundraising for life-saving research. Please support me by sponsoring me. Cancer Research is something very close to my heart, as 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This completely changed my life and is still changing it today; its something no one should have to go through but with the help of pages like these and fundraisers, we are one step closer to beating it together. I've seen many family members or friends go through cancer all my life and I never would have thought I would be one of those people. It is so much to go through, so overwhelming and it affects all of your loved ones too. I have watched too many people close to me lose their battle to cancer, I am one of the lucky ones and that makes me even more determined to do my bit to help people going through cancer and finding a cure. I hope me taking part in Dryathlon is only the start of my fundraising, as I want to give as much back as I can.
