Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I'll be part of the team taking on four rounds of golf (72 holes) on one day to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help me fund life-saving research by sponsoring me and together we can beat cancer sooner. I recently lost my mam to oesophageal cancer and it was only 3 weeks from diagnosis until she passed away. By the time she was in the hands of the consultant there was very little that could be done, the cancer would have needed treatment last August. The palliative care team in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital were amazing and ensured that my mam’s last days were pain-free and comfortable. I am raised money for Cancer Research to continue their work in developing new ways to treat and cure this terrible disease.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
