Running a 5K!!
Soon, I’ll be running a 5K for breast cancer. A lot of you know about my Qualifying Duke Of Edinburgh's Bronze Expedition and how I did my knee in pretty badly which I then made worse by continuing the expedition on it. Before, I would've been running this RFL on the 29th July but after much thought and listening to all of my friends who care about me, I've changed the date so I can fully recover. But even though my knee might still be a bit weak, I'm determined to finish this and so my personal challenge is to finish in under 1 hour and 20 minutes. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
