Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. My journey was like most others, it started with a bolt out of nowhere. In July 2018 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It has been an emotional and at times an exhausting time. I was diagnosed early which gave me a positive outlook. I went into surgery, followed by a period of Radiotherapy. My experience was mind blowing, however with the support of family friends, and a strong medical team, I have come through the haze and back into the world again. I am now one year on following my diagnosis and awaiting my first check up which is why my sister Clare, my niece Emily and I am joining forces to do the Race for Life Pretty Muddy. Please support us to give something back to those who have given their time and expertise in fighting for life.
