My Story
Hi everyone, I’m taking on the Manchester Marathon in honor of my grandad, who sadly passed away before I was born. Though I never had the chance to meet him, I’ve always felt a connection through the stories I’ve heard—especially his love for sports. I like to think he’d be proud of me for running this race, not just for the challenge but for a cause that means so much. Cancer affects so many lives, and Cancer Research UK is doing incredible work to fund life-saving research, improve treatments, and bring hope to families facing this disease. Every step I take in this marathon is for those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and those who will be saved through advancements in research. I would be so grateful for any donation, big or small. Your support will help fund vital research and bring us closer to a world where cancer is no longer a life-threatening diagnosis.
