My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February, I’m running 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. As some of you are aware my nan sadly passed away from cancer 8 years ago and my mum kicked cancers arse a few years back, so I thought I would get my running shoes out and run 2 miles a day (I haven’t run properly for a good few years so this should be interesting 😆) If you can spare some money then please sponsor me, as we all know someone who is still battling this horrible disease and every little does really help. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
