Life would be very different for my family right now without the progress made in cancer treatment. I am running the London marathon this year to raise money for Cancer Research to support further advancement in treatment and ultimately enable more and more people to survive the disease. Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.
