Cancer has touched almost all of us. For me, it was both of my parents. Taken way too young (Dad 43, Mum 54). More research is needed to save lives! Research costs money! I truly hope that my commitment to the Cancer Research 5k event will raise awareness. By all of us doing a little bit we can achieve a lot. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
