I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

In memory of

Ann Kissel

As many of you know, I lost my mom to cancer. This November will be 10 years since I heard her laugh, sought her advice, shared her life. I've lived and learned a lot since then, never doubting that mom is still by my side and cheering me on.

Throughout her decade-long battle, we completed many races such as this one to support funding for cancer research. This will be the first race her granddaughter will participate in as well - hopefully the first of many we do together.

Please consider giving what you can.
