My Story
After losing my husband to cancer in March 2007 I decided to raise funds for CRUK & pledged to raise £1,000,000.00. Starting off on my own I planned a couple of events and then friends wanted to help. I’ve met some lovely people over the last 11 years and the North Warwickshire LC has developed with them involved. We do a wide range of different events using all our making, baking & tin shaking skills to achieve our goal.
CAUSE
Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
