Sheffield Haworth is delighted to be supporting Cancer Research UK throughout 2022. Over the course of this year, we have planned a number of initiatives to fundraise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause. Our main charity event will be a 15 mile walk along the Jurassic Coast in September in memory of one of our colleagues who was living with cancer and sadly passed away in 2020. We’re hoping to beat our total from two years ago, when we took part in The Three Peaks Challenge and raised over £30,000. Any donations you can spare will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to support all the scientists, doctors and nurses who are looking into ways to beat cancer.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
