My Story
Me and Babs (the bump!) are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and support cancer research. We all know friends and family who have battled cancer, let's support the research in memory of those we have lost and those that survived to make sure more and more people can get the help they need to beat cancer. It will likely be the last 5k run I do for an extended period of time and it will certainly be one of the most challenging with my latest addition, so your support is greatly appreciated!! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
