Friends, colleagues, celebrities, It’s that time of year when the commissioning teams at Channel 4 compete to raise as much money as possible for Stand Up To Cancer. Over the next few days people will promise all sorts of stuff to tempt you to part with your cash. They might auction a walk-on part in a TV show (boring!); they might raffle some of their unused props (lazy!); they might offer to come to your office and make tea (who cares?) But like any good TV show, what people really want is jeopardy, and the entertainment team have come up with the riskiest, edgiest idea yet (yes, even more dangerous than when Tom Beck broke a rib doing a ski jump). Ed Havard – Channel 4’s Head of Entertainment and Events - has agreed to let Big Narstie take him on the wildest night of his life. And there is only one rule: Ed cannot say no to anything. It’s Nice meets Narstie…Debonair meets Debauched…Almost Royal meets Barely Legal. It promises to be the most spectacular, entertaining, catastrophic night of the year. BUT: it will only happen if we raise a minimum of £15K for SU2C. Hit the target and there will be explosive photographic evidence…and if you’re generous enough to raise £20K we’ll share video evidence with you all. So please donate as you’ve never donated before. And please forward this email to anyone you think might help us hit that target. The more famous, rich, or FTSE 500 they are the better.
