England Shirt Day - 10th June 2025

Sun 1 Jun 2025 - Mon 30 Jun 2025

My Story

Hi, thanks for dropping by, my name is Russell Osborne and I'm the host of the Three Lions Podcast, I'm also a fan of football shirts. I had this idea that the England against Senegal game at the City ground Nottingham on 10th June could be an occasion where everyone going gets their England shirt out, no matter how old, whether it's home or away. I thought it'd be a great opportunity to fill the stands with England colours rather than club colours and in doing so, raise some cash for the Bobby Moore Fund, or course our glorious captain who raised the Jules Rimet trophy all those years ago. So dig your Three Lions out and give as little or as much as you can afford. I'll be there on the day collecting donations and giving away badges, let's see who has the most random England shirt.

CAUSE

Bobby Moore Fund

Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
