My Story
The hike will take me just over 2 months across 1,200 miles where I'll be wild camping most of the way. Starting off at Lands end in Cornwall, the most southern part of the UK. I will be making my way to snowdon, trekking along the coast and through Wales following the river Wye. From there it'll be to Scafell Pike in the Lake District. Then on to the north where I will be summiting Ben Nevis and into the beautiful highlands of Scotland. Finishing up at the most northern part of the UK, John o, Groats. A real end to end! Important note: Due to the duration of this hike, situations could arise where I may not be able to finish it. Injuries, weather etc. As such this is a challenge to see how far I can get. Rest assured though, I don't quit easily. Why Cancer research? The pandemic, has taken a heavy financial and personal toll on cancer research. Subsequently, this has meant the original pre-pandemic goal set out of 3 in 4 people surviving cancer by 2034 could be seriously reduced. Thank you.
