My Story
This year, I’m running my FIRST EVER 10k for Cancer Research UK, in the hope that in the not-too-distant future, someone will be spared the heartbreak I experienced when my Nannan was taken too soon. Cancer takes no prisoners; it shows no mercy. It doesn’t care that you’re the kindest, most sincere person in the world. It doesn’t think twice about your nearest and dearest. It tears families apart and it leaves a hole that can never be filled. I’m running the Race for Life to raise awareness and help beat cancer once and for all.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
