My Story
Hi there! Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK giving page, where i will be raising money by giving up something for a month, that i absolutely love- meat! All my life i have lived off a diet including meat and animal produce. The reason behind doing this fundraiser, is for a couple of reasons. My family and I have unfortunately lost a loved one due to cancer, and so this organisation is very important to me and the cure for cancer is something i hope i can witness during my lifetime. I have also been an animal lover since i was a child. No matter how big or small, soft or scaly, all animals have the right to live and enjoy life, and recently i have been feeling more and more guilty on eating meat, so i would love to reduce the amount i consume. Not only will this benefit the organisation and reduce my meat intake, but it will increase my confidence in cooking and creating healthy, delicious food. I will try to keep you all updated on either my personal funding page, or my team funding page. Photos will be uploaded of all the food i cook and eat (no matter how terrible it may look...) If you can donate some money towards this cause, i would be forever grateful! My best friend Emily is also joining me on this amazing journey, hopefully together we can raise a nice sum of money!
