My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. In the summer of 2023 my dad was unfortunately diagnosed with a grade 4 brain cancer called glioblastoma - although you couldn't tell! He and I both share a love for running so I want to run the Two Oceans Half Marathon in Cape Town for him and for anyone else fighting a brain tumour right now. This race is also very important to me and my family as my grampa was race director of the Two Oceans for 28 years before his death from skin cancer in 2016, so I want to run in memory of him too! I know it will be a big challenge but hopefully with my dad's skilful coaching and my own commitment, I can make him proud and raise money for this important cause! Any donations, however small or large, would be greatly appreciated in helping me to achieve my goal.

CAUSE
Brain cancers
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. That’s 35 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat brain cancer.
