I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner!
In memory of
My Nan and Grandad.
Cancer effects every family and its the horror truth. Cancer has repeatably effected my family by hurting and taking them away. My Nan enjoyed to sunbath, a little to much from what I was told. My Nan was effected by skin cancer. It got to the point where it had spread through her body and was beyond treatment. This was back in the 1990's. I don't have many memories as I was little. I wish I had a proper chance to know her. But I remember how this effected my grandad, mum and brother. My grandad from that day always took a photo of her where ever he went. Even if it was a holiday away, she was always with him. My Grandad was struck by prostate cancer. Luckily research had developed over the years and he over came it. Sadly something else took his life but cancer was defeated thanks to the research charities and what they have done. I have many more relatives that have suffered from different forms of cancer. I just want to do my bit and prevent loss of life in the future. So that the next generation will not live in fear.
