My Story
We lost our lovely, courageous friend and colleague Emma Bevan, suddenly to cancer in March 2017. We all miss her very much and think about her a lot. By Brook Valley is a different place without her. We decided to do something together as a group to remember Emma, and hopefully have a laugh along the way as she would if she knew we were doing it(!), while raising money for a very worthwhile cause. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
